How It Works

From intake to closing — every step tracked

Here's exactly how an order moves through Silverkrest, who handles each step, and what your team sees along the way.

Order lifecycle

The complete order flow

Every title order follows a clear path. Each stage has an owner, a status, and an SLA clock running.

1
Admin / Data Entry

Order Created

An admin or data entry staff creates a new order: client, county, product type, property reference, and rush vs. standard. The SLA clock starts immediately based on the client's configured SLA rules.

Status: received SLA clock starts Client notified
2
Searcher

Searcher Claims & Works the Order

A searcher logs in and sees their queue — all orders in received status awaiting pickup. They claim the order, marking it as in-progress and making it visible to leads and admins. When done, they move it to search_complete.

Status: in_progress → search_complete Files uploaded Notes added
3
QC Reviewer

Quality Control Review

A QC reviewer picks up the order from the QC queue. They check the searcher's work, add notes or request corrections, and either return it or advance it to qc_complete.

Status: qc_complete Review notes saved SLA still counting
4
Typer

Typing & Final Document

A typer picks up the order from the typer queue, formats and types the final report, uploads the finished document, and marks the order ready for delivery.

Final report uploaded Status: typed
5
Admin

Order Closed & Delivered

The admin closes the order and records the final billing. The order status becomes closed. The client portal immediately unlocks the documents for download. The SLA clock stops and profit is calculated.

Getting started

We set everything up for you

You don't need an IT team. We handle the full setup and you're live in under 48 hours.

Step 1

You tell us about your operation

We gather your client list, staff roster, counties you cover, product types, and SLA requirements. A 30-minute call is usually all it takes.

Step 2

We configure your account

We add all your clients, staff users, roles, product types, SLA rules, and counties. If you have existing orders in spreadsheets, we migrate them in.

Step 3

Your team logs in and goes live

Each staff member gets a login email. We do a 30-minute walkthrough per role if needed. Most teams are fully operational within the first day.

Common questions

Questions about getting started

Most teams are fully live within 24–48 hours. The initial onboarding call takes about 30 minutes, and we handle all the configuration work on our end. Larger enterprise setups with complex SLA configurations may take up to a week.

No. Silverkrest is a web application — your team uses it through a browser, no installation required. The admin interface is designed so a non-technical office manager can add staff, clients, and orders without any training.

Yes. If you have existing order data in spreadsheets or another system, we'll work with you to import it. There's no extra charge for this — it's included with every plan.

Absolutely not. Client portal access is strictly scoped to that client's own orders. No client can see any other client's data. This is enforced at the database level on every query.

We've built Silverkrest specifically for title services companies and have designed it to accommodate the most common workflow variations. Book a demo and describe your process — we'll walk through how it maps to the platform.
